Moriah is a body of believers who are bound together in heart and mind by our belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that Jesus came to earth, lived a sinless life, in love, as the sacrifice for your sins. We have accepted Jesus as our personal Savior and believe the Bible to be the Word of God.

We are committed to joining together for worship, prayer, fellowship and the study of God’s Word. It is our desire to support and uplift each other in Christ’s love. We are also committed to reaching our community for Jesus Christ, and to bring our families, neighbors, and friends unto a more personal fellowship with our LORD Jesus.

The scriptures of both the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired of God and are inerrant in the original writings. They are the Word of God and the final authority in matters of faith and conduct. There is One God, eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all things, including man.

Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is God in the flesh. Man was created in the image of God. He sinned, and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also spiritual death, which is separation from God; Adam's sin was imputed to the whole race of mankind. All human beings are born with a sinful nature, and when they reach the state of moral responsibility, they become sinners before God in thought, word, and deed.

Jesus Christ died for the sins of all men, according to the scripture, and all who believe in Him are freely justified and stand before God, accepted in the character and merit of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ was bodily resurrected, and ascended into heaven, and is presently at the right hand of the Father, is the Head of the Church, the Lord of the individual believer, the High Priest over the House of God, and the advocate in the family of God.

The Second Coming of Jesus Christ is personal, imminent, and will begin His millennial reign. He will first receive his own to Himself, and later, set up His earthly kingdom and reign over redeemed Israel and all nations of the world; that is, to bring peace and blessings to the whole world.

All who by faith receive the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior are born again of the Holy Spirit and receive the indwelling of the Spirit and a new spiritual nature. God is the spiritual Father only of those who believe in His son Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Only those who are saved through faith in Christ are spiritual brothers and sisters. This church believes in the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust; everlasting blessedness of the saved, and everlasting punishment of the unsaved.

 We at Moriah Church, affirm God's plan for marriage and sexual intimacy - one man and one woman (Matthew 19: 4-5) for life. Homosexuality is a sin and not a "valid alternative lifestyle.”

We, as Moriah Church, believe that we can love the sinner, but not condone the sin
